The day my clients closed on their ‘forever home’ they gave a set of keys to both me and their architect. From day one, the design team was formed to build an addition, remodel the kitchen and bathrooms and create an en-suite master bedroom.

The kitchen dining area and family room are part of the new addition that seamlessly blends with the original house. My concept for the family room was for it to feel as if it had existed there for decades. The furniture would coordinate but not necessarily match to create a relaxed yet formal look. My other favorite design elements are the mahogany double sink vanity for the master bathroom which was built locally and the mahogany dining table that seats 16 people which we purchased through an English Antiques Dealer who makes reproductions.
